What’s fair?
The technology of genome editing has the potential to change the future of humanity. It could eradicate disease, reduce global warming and change the way we live but
technological innovations are expensive. How accessible will the technology be at a global scale? And what does it mean for health equality across the world?
Marie Meudec is a social scientist with a passion for health equity, anti-discrimination and participatory and qualitative methodologies. She is currently working in the Department of Public Health of the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Belgium.
Rifdat Aoidi is a Crick scientist interested in in utero development trying to understand heart development in Down Syndrome.
