Academic Coordinator Research

I studied social sciences at University of Antwerp and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven). In 1999 I obtained my PhD degree at K.U.Leuven.

In 2007 I joined ITM as Academic Coordinator Research. My main tasks are:

-to contribute to ITM’s research policy;

-to act as liaison officer for EC National Contact Points, universities, government with regard to research (policy) topics;

-to inform ITM researchers on (inter)national research funding opportunities;

-to support internal research calls;

-to support the activities of the ITM PhD Committee;

-to elaborate and support ITM’s Transferable Skills programme;

-to support the activities of ITM’s Scientific Advisory Council.
