Research expertise

Charlotte Gryseels is a postdoctoral researcher at the Socio-Ecological Health Research Unit of the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp. She has finished her PhD in the Social and Behavioural Sciences at the Amsterdam Institute of Social Science Research in 2017. She has conducted extensive qualitative and mixed-methods research in Southeast Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa and Belgium over the past 12 years, focusing mainly on the acceptability and uptake of interventions, malaria preventive measures, vaccine hesitancy and on social factors impacting transmission dynamics.
