Research expertise

Sara Saleh is a predoctoral researcher in Diagnostic Bacteriology research group at the Biomedical Sciences Department of the Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM) in Antwerp, Belgium. She obtained a Master Degree in Fundamental and Applied Microbiology at the University of Rennes 1, France in 2010. Since October 2013, she started her PhD program entitled “Antigen discovery for improved diagnosis of invasive salmonellosis: a comparative proteome study of Salmonella Typhi, Paratyphi A, Enteritidis and Typhimurium” at the ITM under the supervision of Prof. Stijn Deborggraeve and in close collaboration with Prof. Kris Gevaert of the University of Ghent.
