Yu-Tan Chen is a medical affairs professional with a strong background in pharmaceutical sciences and public health. She has gained extensive experience at AbbVie, Bristol Myers Squibb, and the Network for Education and Support in Immunisation (NESI), working across the pharmaceutical life cycle and supporting clinical trials, scientific engagement, and medical education initiatives. Holding master’s degrees in Public Health Methodology and Leading International Vaccinology Education, as well as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, she combines scientific expertise with public health insight. Building on her experience in clinical trials and the pharmaceutical sector, Yu-Tan contributes to projects that strengthen national research ethics committee accreditation systems and enhance the capacity of ethics committees to review clinical trials in sub-Saharan Africa.
