Project Details
Description
The grant assessed, using a three-arm approach, whether aggressive
management of TB in HIV-infected patients during the 2 first months of
TB treatment with a high dose of rifampicin would result in a decrease in
the early HIV/TB mortality, without the negative effects of the early severe
complications that can arise from the use of early ARV treatment.
