Alternative techniques for monitoring of rifampicin resistant TB treatment response, to replace systematic monitoring by culture

To evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of candidate new techniques for monitoring of progress under shorter RR treatment regimen (STR) and the timely detection of true treatment failure, with the aim to limit cultures to diagnostic and (suspected) recurrence samples.
