Development of a reverse transcription-recombinase polymerase amplification assay for Ebola and Lassa viruses detection.

Project Details

Description

My PhD project focuses on developing and optimising reverse transcription-recombinase polymerase amplification (RT-RPA)assays for Ebola and Lassa viruses to improve point-of-care diagnostic tests for these two viral and deadly diseases. This includes the development, optimisation, analytical and clinical validation of the assays, their integration intoa microfluidic chip, as well as reglementary and interdisciplinary collaborations with different partners.
