Description
To explore health system consequences of the rapid scale-up of HIV treatment programs, focusing on maternal and child health outcomes (related to MDGs 4 and 5). The research attempts to link micro-level data (demographic impact), meso-level data (health facilities) and macro-level data (national policy) in Uganda, Tanzania and Burkina Faso The Health Policy & Financing Unit of ITM is leading the work on Human Resources for Health for the consortium.
