Enhancing entomological capacity for combating vector born diseases in Nepal

The EntoCAP team will strengthen the public health system of Nepal by significantly enhancing the entomological capacity for public surveillance of VBDs, vector control and outbreak response. We will undertake entomological training to enhance
professional capacity and realize a children´s science lab to raise public interest in VBDs. We will lay the cornerstone for a national entomological reference collection and add an innovative on-site DNA barcoding technology to the entomological toolbox.
