    Abstract

A new hyphomycete genus, Hormographiella, commonly found in clinical sources, is described. The more distinguishable features are its erect conidiophores with whorls of fertile hyphae that form arthroconidia and good colony growth at 37-degrees-C. Three new species are included, H. arpergillata, H. candelabrata and H. verticillata.
