Abstract

Two and a half per cent of the 200 bovines examined in an abattoir in South Brazil had pancreatic gross lesions associated with Eurytrema coelomaticum infection. The lesions were mainly subacute periductular pancreatitis and the accompanying alterations in the adjacent parenchyma. Relevant literature is reviewed and compared with the results of the present study.
